About Table Rock Lake
Table Rock Lake is the White River reservoir behind Table Rock Dam near Branson, Missouri, operated by the Little Rock District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flood control and hydropower. Its conservation pool sits at 917 ft, and boaters watch the gap to 931 ft, the top of the flood pool, because Corps releases through the dam feed Lake Taneycomo and the trout water below. Summer pool is normally held near 915 to 917 ft; a winter drawdown toward the 881 ft power pool floor is rare and only happens in extended drought.
